Fort William is situated at the foot of Ben Nevis and is the self titled Outdoor Capital of the UK.  It has something for everyone who wants to be in the outdoors.

Aside from world class mountain biking, the area can offer great walking, fishing, rock climbing, skiing, canoeing and kayaking.

Nevis Range and the Leanachan Forest Trails will be the venue for the 2014 WEMBO World Solo 24hr Championships.

This venue currently hosts a round of the UCI Mountain Biking world cup on an annual basis and in 2007 was host of the UCI World Championships.
